Khor Virap Monastery (16th Century), Lusarvat Village, Ararat Marz, Armenia
The monastic complex dated the 12th century, where St. Gregor the Illuminator, who brought Christianity to Armenia, was kept in jail for 13 years. The monastery is located in the Ararat Valley and offering a breathtaking view of the biblic Mount Ararat.
